A message from Mrs. Spain:

Associate Principal – Tracy Spain

I am so excited for the 2018-2019 school year to begin!  We continue to have full state accreditation and maintain our Leader in Me Lighthouse status.  We have so many great & wonderful things happening at Holladay this school year!  We are celebrating our 50th year anniversary!  We are also excited to have ALL students qualify to eat breakfast and lunch FREE of charge this year!  In addition to all of this, Holladay is on-boarding with the Virginia Department of Education as a VTSS (Virginia Tiered Systems of Support) school.  Our school-wide focus will be on positive behavior interventions & support that will help to improve all student’s academic success.  You and your student(s) will learn more throughout the year about these supports and everyone will grow in their leadership skills based on our four (4) school-wide expectations:  Be Respectful, Be Responsible, Be Safe, and Be a Leader.  Expect to see more information come home in the near future!  As you all know, our Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) actively supports many great initiatives here at Holladay and I strongly encourage everyone to join and participate in our school community.  We usually have two spirit nights, at local restaurants, each month and after school activities/programs to highlight our students hard work and achievements.  Keep an eye on the school calendar, flyers, and the school website to stay up-to-date on all these fun events.  In the end, I want your students to be ALL that they can be and I am are here to support them & your family.  Please reach out to your child’s teacher, the office staff, and/or administration when you have questions.  Here’s to a great school year!
